This resulted in many new entrants like Samsung who created Galaxy series for its Android phone and Android tablet, Google, Microsoft, and traditional PC manufacturers like SASS, HP and ACRE, which eventually will decrease profitability for all firms in the industry. The entry barrier for this consumers electronics is high before, for example, technology, patents, rights, etc. However, with the technology communication, the entry barriers is lower and lower, especially many small electronic companies in Mainland China have fight into this battle. Suppliers of raw materials, components, labor, and services (such as expertise) to the firm can be a source of power over the company, when there are few substitutes. I suggest Apple can involve more groups into this platform, involving more partners or users but not direct consumers, to be cited as an n-sided market. I assume this is can be started from software service. Multiple revenue stream Multiple income streams are an idea in unstable economies that manage the risk. Adding additional revenue streams can keep Apple from totally panicking if one area slows down. Having multiple revenue streams means more to manage. But it also serves as the foundation of a healthy business. Platform Innovation Production Apple drove Foxhounds benefit up due to it put most of the production line into it. Foxing is famous for double decreasing the suppliers quotation so that it can earn the space of cost. For example, a company quoted $1 to Apple, so Apple will place $1 as unit price to Foxing plus the manufacturing fees, but Foxing will force a company decrease its price like $0. 09, so that it can earn $0. 1 per PCs. The existence of Ligeia starts to come develop as the narrator starts fixating on her erratic learning, rare beauty, and the care for language. The narrator describes the first encounter with Ligeia in Germany, in which he states,â⬠Yet I know that I met her most frequently in some large, old, decaying city near the Rhine. â⬠(Belasco, Johnson pg. 1021). The narrator states he think he meets her in Germany, in which he states he doesnââ¬â¢t remember much. The narrator demonstrates hallucinations and an altered state of mind with his visions of Ligeia. For example, the narrator explains that he met Ligeiaââ¬â¢s family, but he canââ¬â¢t recall their name. The narrator describes Ligeia as a tall and thin women, whose days were emaciated. (1021). The narrator describes her voice as a sweet and low and face like an ââ¬Å"opium dreamâ⬠. (1021). Ligeiaââ¬â¢s hair was described as looking like a raven and her skin as white as ivory. The visions of Ligeia comes from light and darkness that the narrator uses to conflict the two metaphysical traditions. The narrator describes Ligeiaââ¬â¢s features with ââ¬Å"strangenessâ⬠, in which her most distinguishing feature was her curly hair, in which her eyes matched. Ligeiaââ¬â¢s image is described in a mysterious way in which the narrator blisses his memory of her exquisiteness. The narrator also describes Ligeiaââ¬â¢s language and learning skills, in which helped him understand the world of theoretical studies during the first years of their marriage. The visions of Ligeia grow stronger as she gets ill and the narrator reads a poem which describes the natural disaster of life. The poem describes a theater where angels have come to see mysterious movements which are controlled by outside manifestations. The presences of the outside presences during the poem demonstrate mystery and darkness. After the death of Ligeia, the narrator gets remarried to Lady Rowena in which he gets a Gothic art piece in which his wife is frightened of. The narratorââ¬â¢s second wife begins to get sick like Ligeia and the narrator begins to think that death is forthcoming. The death of Lady Rowena brings flashback memories of Ligeia to the narrator and how obsessed he was for the love they once had. The gothic bridal chamber that Lady Rowena is in has Ligeiaââ¬â¢s sensuality in the creation of the chamber so the narrator can remember her. The visions of Ligeia demonstrate irrational beliefs as where she returns alive in the bridal chamber in which the narrator scared of the rebirth of the corpse. Although Ligeia died, the memory of her stayed in the mind of the narrator. The return of Ligeia demonstrated that the narrator lost his sense of reality and the manifestation of her signifies that the vision of Ligeia is more physical than just a memory.

Avec d'autres, il peroit les limites de la raison autant que celles de la foi, ce qui explique une ?uvre dont certains passages rsistent toute interprtation certaine, quand le philosophe se cache derrire l'artiste. Et concernant le monde grec, sa pense est elle aussi caractrise par un certain philhellnisme dans la mesure o lui-mme apprcie les prsocratiques, par opposition Socrate, signe pour lui de dcadence. La duplicit du philosophe et de l'artiste parat moins originale chez Camus, car plus tardive, lui qui est n en 1913 et mort en 1960. Sa pense, quant elle, ne vise pas l'hermtisme car elle se veut claire et accessible, contrairement l'aristocratisme nietzschen, mais il faut souligner le vitalisme des deux ?uvres, ce qui les oppose au pessimisme de Schopenhauer. D'un point de vue biographique, le dsir de vivre dcupl de Camus, lequel s'explique en partie par la tuberculose qui l'a menac toute son existence, rappelle une ide majeure de Nietzsche. Car pour celui-ci, toute pense ne se comprend en fin de compte que selon le vcu de celui qui la professe, mme si le projet philosophique tend l'universalit. S'il l'on met en perspective l'?uvre de chacun de ces philosophes, les convergences se rvlent aussi nombreuses que les divergences : la trajectoire de l'lve qui paie sa dette l'gard de son matre avant de prendre ses distances illustre cette logique. Avant mme d'entrer dans le fond, la comparaison entre Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra et Le Mythe de Sisyphe confirme, par le recours au mythe, une certaine htrodoxie philosophique. Le logos, selon les deux auteurs, n'puise pas toutes les modalits de la pense : le mythos, lui aussi, satisfait aux exigences de la vrit. Et sur le fond, ds sa jeunesse, Camus signale avec L'Envers et l'Endroit son attachement presque panthiste l'immanence, tandis que Nietzsche, certes de faon plus critique, s'attaque la transcendance chrtienne dans L'Antchrist. Tous deux, en effet, envisagent le christianisme de faon critique, et principalement ngative, ce qui n'exclut pas pour autant un avis trs complexe sur le sujet, chez l'un comme chez l'autre. Mais Nietzsche ne peut se rduire cette dimension critique, lui qui veut aussi affirmer la ncessit de la jouissance dans ses ?uvres de maturit comme Le Gai savoir. Une telle proccupation ne convient pas Camus, ainsi qu'en tmoigne L'Homme rvolt, essai o le disciple, entre autres, reproche au matre son aspiration la puissance. Dans la mme ide, le titre loquent de Par-del bien et mal rend compte du climat propre chaque auteur, Nietzsche entendant dpasser cette opposition morale quand Camus veut la maintenir.

J.J. Thomson Atomic Theory and Biography Sir Joseph John Thomson or J.J. Thomson is best known as the man who discovered the electron. J.J. Thomson Biographical Data Tomson was born December 18, 1856, Cheetham Hill, near Manchester, England. He diedà August 30, 1940, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. Thomson is buried in Westminster Abbey, near Sir Isaac Newton. J.J. Thomson is credited with the discovery of the electron, the negatively-charged particle in the atom. He is known for the Thomson atomic theory. Many scientists studied the electric discharge of aà cathode ray tube. It was Thomsons interpretation that was important. He took the deflection of the rays by the magnets and charged plates as evidence of bodies much smaller than atoms. Thomson calculated these bodies had a large charge to mass ratio and he estimated the value of the charge itself. In 1904, Thomson proposed a model of the atom as a sphere of positive matter with electrons positioned based on electrostatic forces. So, he not only discovered the electron but determined it was a fundamental part of an atom. Up until the end of the 19th century, atoms were thought to be tiny solid spheres. He proposed the atom was a sphere, but the positive and negative charges were embedded within it. Thomsons model came to be called the plum pudding model or chocolate chip cookie model. Modern scientists understand atoms consist of a nucleus of positively-charged protons and neutral neutrons, with negatively-charged electrons orbiting the nucleus. Yet, Thomsons model is important because it introduced the notion that an atom consisted of charged particles. Interesting Facts About J.J. They had a son and a daughter. The son, Sir George Paget Thomson, received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1937.Thomson also investigated the nature of pos itively-charged particles. These experiments led to the development of the mass spectrograph. Thomson was closely aligned with chemists of the time. His atomic theory helped explain atomic bonding and the structure of molecules. Thomson published an important monograph in 1913 urging the use of the mass spectrograph in chemical analysis.Many consider J.J. Thomsons greatest contribution to science to be his role as a teacher. Seven of his research assistants, as well as his own son, went on to win the Nobel Prize in Physics.
